ultimate SIANNESS!

the feeling of nothing to do/nothing to aim for/nothing to prepare for is really weird...
i guess im not that kind of person that can just slack for long periods of time.
i really wish now that i can get addicted to some game or something(good of cos) to just kill time and not feel bored after playing for awhile.

just made brekky after super long. see i always cannot wake up for breakfast. haha.
and my first meal of the day is always lunch or sometimes dinner recently.
made breakfast for 2 comprising of sausages, scrambled eggs and beef pie! ok. i know its super easy to make.(beef pie cooked using microwave. LOL!) then after that i made my boy boy wash the dishes. *evil laughter*

AND i just joined the -tys club last saturday... dunno should be happy or not.. lol.
20 means one more year to be legal in singapore and m'sia. 2 years legal in aussie.. haha
AND at last LEGAL in NEWZEALAND!
still remember i got denied entry to new zealand casino in july cos i haven turned 20 yet! wth.....

2 decades have passed already.. feel so old man.
how i wish i was still in primary or secondary school being so carefree...hai
almost without any problems. and i just lived for the day and have fun.
now im alone in aussie, away from family.
nearest family still down south at melbourne.
but thank god i have my boyboy with me. =)

din do much on my birthday.
went to school for my last paper at 8am. quite easy but still used the entire duration of the paper to do finish.
went for a garage sale in the area den went to toowong for lunch..
the fish with the spicy souppy thing really tested my spicyness endurance man.
first time i ate something spicy and had my whole face turn red!
den slept the whole day! haha. supposed to wake up to go out for dinner and movie but could not wake up.

so postponed it to sunday(15/11).
my boy brought me to goldclass cinema at indro la. i tot only go watch movie only.
den i heard him told the ticket counter ppl that he wanted to buy 2 gold class tickets... ahhhh! hahahha.
was really treated like royalty la. even though there were ppl walking in and out of the cinema to serve the food/drinks or to collect them.
time travellers wife is super nice la.. even though it was quite sad..
the main actor died in the end.... =( den leave his wife and daughter.
but luckily he could time travel to the future to meet his wife and daughter so at least they could see him once in awhile..
gold class is quite ex so dont bother going unless its a big event or u are just feeling rich/plain rich.
after 5pm, its 37 dollars per person. before 5pm, 25 per person. and you can only purchase drinks and food from their bar which is quite ex but its nice at the same time. haha.
eg. one coke -- 4.50
normal snacks like chips and salt and pepper squid are all 10 plus.
but overall its a nice experience la. esp with my love! =)

im tired of nagging at you already.
you failing ur subjects and in the end needing to continue on here longer will only be to my advantage as you will be around.
BUT i do not want that to happen just for you to stay here longer.
you can ask me to study but everytime i ask you to study, you will pull a long face or just say 'soon' which would never come.
isnt that like double-standards?????
last time when i asked u to study, it was much easier and you told me you were actually happy that i asked you to study cos i would actually care(or something liddat! i remembered ok!).
now, its just in one ear and out the other.................

last night went for nadia's birthday party.
drank more than i usually would. drank 1-2 real shots of i dunno what.
but it really was super burning man.
and quite a few shots mixed with coke. which tasted so much better.
would still prefer normal coke though. lol.
birthday girl drank the most last night. haha.
until she was totally drunk but did not pass out before i left.

long time no blog already. hahah.
im now well into my 3rd semester at uq already. which means that mid semesters are about now.
ok. i just completed my last mid semester exam just now. and it was the worse man!
for the other 2, im quite confident for the 7 or at least the 6.
but for today's.....AHHHHH!

5 or maybe 4??? sianness. but thank god for MCQs.
3 structured only able to complete one. other 2 dunno how to do.
even though i studied like mad for this paper. like the other 2.
and i completed studying what is there to be studied and practised.
and he so have to put a question in the exam which im really not sure about.
EXCHANGE RATE!!!! why are you so difficult. HAHA.
ok. its the arbitrage part that is difficult.
i know what to do cos of the similar questions that i did before.
but i cannot get the answer!!
i know arbitrage profit is almost like free money but no need to test us so much on it right. LOL!

okkk. enough of exams.
now i just need to concentrate on my weekly quizes and auditing assignment coming up in about 2? weeks.

tonight should be going to watch movie! gonna play cos all the exams are over! YAYNESS!
this weekend not going to study cos its play weekend! hahaha.

into the 4th week of semester already. sianness..

workload is building up. with lots of quizes being open and going to be due soon.

really wonder whether my childhood dream of becoming an accountant will actually come to pass or i will just simply change to another vocation.

the numbers part is still ok for me with all the formulas which is my forte.

the theory is really killing me. esp for auditing now!

and to be certified, i will need to do auditing first before going on to becoming a certified accountant.sianness.

finance so far seems so much more interesting.

derivatives trading is so fun! haha. plus the part on currency exchange.

yesterday my parents went to visit my cute little niece shannon.

first quiz of this semester due coming thurs. thats very fast.....

supposed to go westend this morning de but i could not get myself out of bed.. lol.
havent been to westend for like super long already.
should really go there soon and stock up on fruits...

i this semester is so going to be last semester.
as in it will be gone before i know it.
last semester seemed shorter den my first semester here.

next week is ekka! yay! which means no school on wed!! hehehhe.
this year im thinking of going for ekka to join in the celebrations. lol.
even though i dun really know what its for.

will only have school on monday and thurs. yayness!

my first semester close friend has just flown back to singapore for good after graduating last week.

im back from melb and tml is the starting of school.

havent been blogging cos have been going out like everyday after the exams. lol.

tues(23/6) had been a great day! =)

went out for yum cha at chinatown/valley with dear, rena and richard.

food still ok ba. haha.

hanged out at casino for awhile den went shopped at city. love shopping. haha!

after that, had dinner with dear at "oxleys on the river" to celebrate our first month. nicenice..

love the atmosphere there. =)

HAPPY 3 WEEKS my beloved BOYFRIEND! =)
ok. to be exact. its 3 weeks and one day. haha.
will be looking forward to more "3 weeks" and even "3 years" to come in the future! lol.
thanks for the security and always making me feel so love over this 3 weeks and awhile before that too. LOL.

tml marks the start of the exam period.
4 more days to my first paper.
havent really touched on marketing which is in 4 days time together with incometax law.

completed so far:
all of incometax law, financial reporting.
never really studied financial management but did past year papers already.
2002 paper got 78/100. dont think that its good enough though.
but thats enough for me to get a 7 which is 85% in total for the whole course. haha.
cos i got the full 10% for the quizes plus 14/15 for 35% midsemester.=) PTL! =)

just need stuff like this to give me the confidence that i did it before so i can definitely do it this time around.

after much persuasion and nagging from my dear bf, i've decided to take some time off my studying to blog. =)

ok. HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY ANDREA! xoxo

went for andrea's birthday celeb on friday night.
met the group at casino and hung around the casino till the restaurant IN the casino which we were eating at for the night has enough places for the big group of us.
the food was quite good for $22.50! its buffet.
even though i din really like some of the meats. but overall its nice! esp cos of the mussels! and of cos the choc brownie!
the choc brownie is just so good becos its pure choc w/o any nuts or anything else which i dont like. MY KIND OF CHOC! yums.
den hung around the casino for awhile after the dinner to wait for the time to go clubbing at night.
clubbed at FAMILY which is at the valley.
din really like the music there cos its TECHNO! hai. every part of the club was techno lar.
but did enjoy myself with the girls and of cos the guys too. HAHA.
anywhere with friends is fun, even if the music was sucky.
and of cos its fun anywhere if the cat is there. =)

on a side note, thanks dear for coming with me today.
it really means alot to me. =)

2nd friday in a row that i go for a 21st party.
good thing is that i get to DRESS UP! hehe.

last night watched terminator 2 with bf, candice, her bf, daryl, andrea and dwight.
its nice though at times i do not know what was going on. LOL.
i guess its just a guy thing thats why i dont understand.

first paper in 17 days! ahhh!
so far only completed 1st topic out of 4 topics for incometax law in terms of lecture only for revision.
but thank god im quite up to date with FM or else i got more stuff to do liao.

ppl pray for me esp for 16 june man. my two worst subjects that needs lots of memory work back to back on the same day. but thank god its at the same place so no need to walk. HAHA.

ptl for the early ending of papers! haha. i only know kenny whom ends one day before me when others end way after me like 20 something of june. people like candice and my dear.. haha.

yesterday went for kenneth's birthday party at his place all the way at darra.
had pizza and drank less than a shot of vodka cos forced by birthday boy.
after the party, was supposed to go reijis de BUT when me and felix followed regina back to her place to send her back, felix just fell on to regina's bed and was like unconscious for awhile cos he had drank abit too much. so got stuck at regina's place till today morning.
after he felt much better, we watched the horror movie "coming soon" on regina's macbook.
super scary lar. but its quite a good movie for the scare.. even though it had a sad ending as in the main character died. =(
in the morning came home after breakfast den slept the whole afternoon. lol.
and i should really get down to studying for today man.

had dominos pizza for dinner after so long. last time was last year when we were still staying at taringa. yums.

went with bf to taringa dominos to get the pizzas PLUS the heavenly choc lava cakes den headed down to joleen's place to eat.

ate the pizzas at their place and passed them the choc lava cakes which they "ordered" den came home. lol.

came home ate the remaining choc lava with bf and candice. yums!! HAHA. den chatted with candice and charles from 10 plus all the way to 12 plus. LOL. time just pass super fast when we're having fun or in this case joking with each other.

dfo airport really have loads of cheap and nice stuff.
my favourite buy is my new jacket that cost 30 bucks from billabong!!!
and second is another fashion woollen jacket for 30 bucks too from dotti.
spend about 100 bucks altogether! wow! first time hitting a 100 in a day of shopping. weee.

and thanks dear for carrying all our stuff. ok. its snatching the stuff that we bought away from us to help us carry. LOL! =)

couldnt concentrate during lecture just now.

my 2nd time there ever since i first came to brisbane. funfun.

yesterday's movie was great too! ANGELS AND DEMONS!
but seriously. it made the catholic/christian faith seem very bad.
at the starting, first thing i realise that they show that the big shots(dunno what are they called) of the catholic church smoking cigarettes. wth! i seriously dont rem that from the book even though i din read finish the book.
and the company was just great. had fun before and after the movie. =)

another mid sem exam has just been over today.
fm! my favourite subject of all this semester. HAHA. and i better get that 7!!!
and that 7 really can stress me up man.
was doing last min studying last night/this morning, dunno why my mind just wasnt working and i couldnt get all my answers. and the thing is i've done all except one question before and gotten the answer. and tt really stressed me up real bad. ok la. i've been more stressed before which was in jc. when i couldnt get physics. HAHA.

AND the school at night is so beautiful! i really love the sight man. could just stay there and lie on the benches all through the night. BUT the cold doesnt allow me to do so. LOL.

so one more midsem exam and one more assignment to go! den it will be the endsems.
i can do it! esp for the assignment!!!

orh ches on my hand now caused by some person!!! 5 to be exact! boohoo! pain!
all of a sudden i love my fingernails really much. cos it causes something worse than orh ches which are CUTS! hahaha. long + sharp + force = cuts.

mktg exam is over at last yesterday!
50 mcqs is one hr is really xiong as in tiring. but managed to finish about 15 to 20 mins before the hour is up so PTL for that.
new record for me man. the most mcqs i ever done in an hour is 40! HAHA.
some questions that they asked were really stupid lar.

an example is that a group of customers came to ur restaurant to eat becos of their friend's recommendation. they did not like the food so they were not happy. what made the group of customers not happy?(something liddat)
a) they were angry with their friend cos their friend lied to them.
b) they are not satisfied cos the food did not match up to their expectations.
c) and d) were along the lines of a). lol.

if i din think marketingly, i will think every answer is possible lar.

i think the night before studying really helped alot man. let me recap all my stuff without any distractions. plus studying with a few other ppl really makes studying fun. haha.

and for those that managed to read on of my sub-nicks yesterday. yes. im falling sick.
started with sniffing and running nose on tues den it became worse on yesterday with a little bit of headache. today leh, headache is gone but nose still not good. it feels like a tap that can never be turned off with a few sudden gushes of water once in a while. HAHA.
felix was really a great brother yesterday night man. he braved the cold(being abit sick himself) and walked from his place(which is just down the street) to my place to pass me panadol for colds and feng you.
those ppl that really know me knows that i dun like this kind of fengyou smell but for me to breathe better, i had no choice but to use it. my whole nose is like blocked up lar.

now i feel so relaxed other then me being sick now. 2 more midsems which are my favourite subjects of all this sem. which are like 1 and 2 more weeks from now. so got loads of time. plus today got no school. =)

today is the first day of school already.
the one week of holiday is gone just like that. too fast man. lol. but im glad i really did enjoy myself ALOT! haha
ok. what did i do during the break?
watch movie, dreamworld, poker@hotelLA which is at milton den walked all the way to city for supper, mahjong plus ton at friend's place, potluck.

so only studied abit during the hols so had to like study on sunday to make up for it.
last night studied for almost the whole night at chamberlain building lar. met charles there but he left after awhile so was alone from about 8 to 11 plus until felix came to join me. he gave me loads of tips for my marketing assignment lar. so happy. hahahaha. even though im still having problems with it. watched "the exorcist" after manymany hours of studying. quite a boring show man. not even scary. maybe cos the atmosphere isnt there. LOL. reached home at 4am! wow! hahaha. dont worry, im still all in one piece. nothing happened to me and i met no drunkards on the way home. ok. i met no one on the way other than felix that was with me.

today leh. forced myself to go for 2pm lecture. apparently today's lecture wasnt that boring as usual. cos i understood everything. HAHA.

tml 10am lecture. sianness. but tml is one of the two days that i have ppl that i feel comfortable with attending classes with me the whole day. law with kenny and fm tute with a girl call sharon.

tml just going to uni for this psychology research thingy with candice and for that one hr, they will pay us 10 bucks each! good money for just sitting there and if i really want to be so bad, is to give super random answers. which is not something that i will give if i thought thru it. and fri is good friday! start of the one week holiday!!!

since i already made the decision(refering to one of my previous post), i can say it here. haha
actually wanted to go back to singapore during this break which will only cost me about 600 AUD for a return ticket with emirates. if i carried on with my plan, i will be packing now and will be leaving like in the wee hours of the morning tml. BUT its abit impractical for me to go back right now. not talking about the money though. its more like the no. of mid sem exams that i have after the break which is like one every week for 3 weeks. and im not up to date with 2 of the 3 subjects. HAHA. *shoot me*

ok. i dont want tues to come. cos wed i meeting my mktg group members again. cos i will have to choing my part on tues cos of the stupid mid sem exam.

the singaporean house in front of my place is super noisy again. they just had a big gathering at their place lar and they TALK super loudly. if you want to ask why i din get to know them cos they are also singaporeans, the entrances to both places are super far apart. will not meet. only can hear them talking the whole day. GUYS! super noisy! hahahaha.

its the weekend again! but this weekend will be super stressed up and busy. i've sorta prepared already for the exam but i just feel very worried. no matter how much i studied.

boring life of a uni student. lol.

its just study study and study.
ok lar. i've been slacking alot the past few days. and now. i dunno how to do my tute! maths! ahhh. hahaha. ok lar. its nothing to do with the formula. i think i just dunno which formula to use. KENNY HELP! LOL. like he will see this liddat. bonds are so difficult. use the formula which they gave but ITS WRONG!

yesterday was super fun lar. haha.
went for service in the morning with candice, charles, joleen and kenny came along too. so got a ride there in his car. lol. car rides are so fun. really thinking that i should start getting plan of getting a car license to work now. even though there are many steps that i need to go thru. more than normal ppl i would say cos of some stuff.

after svc went indro den back home. the 5 of us are all into music so when we get together, we took all the instrus that we have and played. HAHA!
im currently learning how to play tonghua on the keyboard. so nice! and i havent lost my piano touch yet. hahahaha. though i forgot quite abit of scales already.
eg. candice said Bb chord on left hand. i totally forgot how to play that. lol.

had a long nightmare last night.
was practically crying in my sleep.
ok. i dreamt that i was about to leave singapore for aus and the feeling was like for good.
and i will not be seeing all my friends in sg forever.
my dream setting was like at the last hangout i will have with my friends.
outwardly i was not crying but i was sobbing deeply inside.
woke up really sad. but got better during the day.
thinking about the nightmare now makes me miss home again.

i usually cannot rem my dreams most of the time but this dream seemed super real.
all my friends in singapore, you are missed.

these two days have been super tiring.
kept perspiring non-stop AND i have aching arms and legs now.

last few days have been great.

elite real estate is super irritating!
we had to go to the place 4 times before we get to view the place!
submitted application on fri and they said that they will get back to us by tues or wed.
called on wed, they say not ready.
this morning(thurs) they called to tell us the rent has increased from 400 to 420.
we said ok.. and they still ask us to wait! wth!

we were seriously considering on just giving this place up lar.
but i dunno why i just like that place.
even with the 'indian perfume?' smell in the house(cos the previous tenants are two indian girls), it din really matter to me.

ok lar. the good things about the place is that its near uni. about 5 to 10 mins walk to uni.

we were supposed to take the 525am flight but it got cancelled!
and we only came to know about it when we reached the airport and was dropping off our check-in bags at the counter!

cos its like exam is sort of over but not yet over!
you know that kind of feeling? -- you really feel like going out but you know you have exam coming up so you force urself to stay at home. and when you finish studying(like mine, where there is nothing much to study), you just get super bored staring at the four walls of the house(or room to be exact for me now).

ok. im thinking of changing my major but the one that i want to change to is not offered in UQ! ahhhh!
monash just sent me a reminder of the full offer for next year sem 1.
and i was looking thru the majors which i saw something which i will love alot.
its 'econometrics and business stats'!
hai.. uq doesnt offer this at all. and no. im not going over to monash becos of this.
becos i've been here for like one sem! ok. im totally not acting like a economics student!
economics doesnt bother with sunk cost! hai. but who cares. im not majoring in economics! lol.
so i will just need to 'zhen si' my 3 subjects which is related to that!

just recently got back my assignment and the results of it!
PTL! got a 7! all those stress and frustration did end up with something hahahaha.
out of the whole project, i only lost for my group 0.6 marks! which is only 0.3% of the grade.
im refering to those parts under my care.
and one more thing to PTL for.
the part that i did about the 'advise to lenders' got a V GOOD from my lecturer! the only V good in the whole assignment. hahahaha.

thanks CANDICE for giving me morning call! haha. for 'pulling' me out of bed. haha.

had 3 alarms to make sure that i woke up yesterday for the exam.

first was my alarm clock, followed by my hp den miss candice. muahahaha.

took 428 to uni but bus came about 5-10 mins late but thank god i took an earlier bus cos i dont want to be late.

reached school at 1035 when the paper starts at 1115! hahah. yeah. im kiasu! its exam leh!

the exhibition hall is so big lar! first time i went inside.

had a total of about 6-7 papers taking the exam at the same place.

rem i said in an earlier post that i had to do 9 essays in 2 hrs?

guess what? i managed to do 10 full essays in 2 hrs!

so had time to choose which is my worst one and cancel it out.

i really wanna thank God for being with me through the whole paper and giving me the confidence to do it.

and esp for the wisdom while preparing and wisdom when i was doing the paper.

out of the 10 qns that i attempted, at least 7 of it is copied from work that i had done before.

some are from past year papers, den some are rephased tutorial qns. PTL!

after the paper yesterday, i've been feeling super relax and have not really been studying. haha.

ok lar. yesterday studied little bit.

i think the tv is really a distraction man. they have like lots of movies shown on tv everyweek.

yesterday there was ice age, wedding planner and scary movie 4! just in one night. all on different chns of cos. and the night before there was HARRY POTTER and the chamber of

woke up with a splitting headache just now.
maybe i've been having not enough sleep? as in not enough of long hours.
so my body is punishing me?
ahhhhh!
its slightly better now.
tried to sleep at 2 plus am last night but was still awake until 3.30am when i checked the time.
arghx! and now is 9am. got up at 830am just now.
so its 5 hrs of sleep! yaya.. if you add the total hrs i sleep its very normal but its not healthy!
hai~! if im in singapore and my sleeping pattern is liddat, i will get lots of naggings from my parents man.
aiya.. just need to get thru this exam period and my sleeping cycle will hopefully go back to normal.

only slightly more than half way done studying for it.
12 topics and im only half way thru topic 8! nvm! i will finish studying!

im feeling super studious now! haha.
studied till almost 4 am this morning! den woke up at 11 plus but only started studying at about 1 till 5pm! wahahaha.

went for connect just now in the evening.
a good time of praying. i think thats like the longest time i ever prayed in tongues in a group ever since i came here man. haha.
and this is the first time someone actually prophesied over me in a meeting!
i cannot rem word for word of what simon said but its about me being rich and successful in the future and how i will be giving into the house of God. And after i graduate, im gonna rise fast up the corporate ladder.
ppl have told me similar stuff before but not to this extent.
felt God's presence so strongly while they were praying for me just now. =)

had a dream while i was sleeping in this afternoon. candice helped me checked out what it meant and i went to read it.
ok. my dream was that i was running away from somebody whom i have no idea who it was.
den the website actually said something very funny, it said something like the next time i have that dream again, i should turn around and ask why is he/she is chasing me? haha. lame lar.
i can sort of guess why im having this dream lar.

and just a few days ago i had another dream which i think it sort of link but it has a totally different context.
i really feel that im kinda in denial. told both my dreams to candice and she commented something which i try hard not to believe. sigh.....

currently blogging in uni waiting for PASS to start at 2pm.
lect ended an hour early so can come online for awhile.. haha. so im quite bored now.

the guy BESIDE me is super IRRITATING! he keeps shaking his leg which makes the WHOLE bench shake!!!! even my laptop on the bench table is shaking too lar.
its like he shakes den stop, shake den stop again.................. AHHHHHHH!

later meeting my grp members to complete the project and to send it for printing. yayness! haha
actually its completed le lar.. but my group member wants to check again to make sure everything is correct. we want to get 7 lehS! ok lar. maybe its just me and the vietnamese since its like me and the vietnamese doing most of the work. for this project, i had to vett through all their work plus my own lar! becos their english really CMI de! i really had a hard time figuring out what they meant. and my english cannot really say its good lar. im just able to write in proper grammer and letting ppl understand.. and not using those very impressive words or structures.. ahhhhh.

its so hot!!!!
it was actually 35 degrees when i was on my way home with candice just now from uni..!!
really felt as though was in a oven lor.. haha.. now its 29 degrees! still very hot.

i feel that i have lost the momentum to study man.
the relax mode that came upon me after the end of my midsem exams seems to have stayed longer than it should have been.
its not that i dont study now lar. but i feel that im really slacking.
have i loss the excitement of being in uni thats why? lol.
me being so slack is really stressing me up cos its like
1) accounting project gonna be due in a month's time.
2) i have no idea what my accounting lecturer is talking about ever since maybe like 2 weeks ago.

should i really major in accounting when its giving me so much of a headache now when its only the basics?

there are lots of writing qns and i think i only loss 1 mark for all the writing qns! which totals about slightly less than 10 marks.

please answer this qn: SHOULD I TAKE MY DRIVING LICENSE HERE IN AUS SINCE I WILL BE HERE FOR 3 YEARS?? haha. cos siji has been ~~showing off(LOL)~~ telling me about how great having a car is here in brisbane and been encouraging me to get my license here. cos its like almost all my friends here all have their driving license already! even kenny has at least a provisional lar! thanks for ur feedback? hahaha

today woke up at like 1 plus pm lar. haha.
had a great time from yesterday till early this morning.

last night went to siji's place to celebrate his birthday! we had steamboat! he prepared like super alot of food which we all cant finish even though there were like altogether 8 ppl there. played indian poker first den as usual sure will kenna de. haha. but this isnt like the normal indian poker that i usually play lar. game is the same its the forfeit which is different.. last time i played it was like water or even squats. this time round its actually some kind of BEER! i think its beer ba cos its looks like it but it doesnt really taste like it cos it was way sweeter den normal beer. kenna 2 times. but thank God birthday boy had to share half of whatever that is in the cup or the last round which is the whole bottle. haha. if he doesnt share half of both times i kenna with me, i guess i will be the one that will be drunk? haha. and its not like drink slowly lehs its drink all at one go. after the second time which i drank the half of the bottle, for awhile my mind wasnt really working man. haha.. watched movie for awhile after indian poker den took over siji to play mahjong. at first was like losing lar but slowly started to win. played 2 rounds altogether.. first round managed to win cos i limit 2 times in a row man! haha. first time limit somemore is last tile zi mo lehs. hahahah. den second time won mainly by ganging(four of a kind).

feeling quite bad now cos won quite alot from kenny. even though he is being super gentlemanly about it.
played till like 6am in the morning today. haha. during the last few games of the second round, everybody were like not making big cards already. haha.. its like everybody winning with just 1 or 2 tai. haha.

went to stamford plaza for this overseas singaporean thingy. and had a talk by Mr Douglas Foo, the CEO of Apex-Pal.

He is super humble lar.. keep on saying that he is still on the S of success and success is a super long word when he has like 100 over shops around the world already!

rather inspiring i must say. got kinda inspired to start out on my dream. even though my dream is by heaps and bounds smaller den what he is wants to do.

got kinda touched when he said that even if their adding of vitamin E into the rice helps one customer to prevent cancer, he is very happy already(something liddat).

he really cares about the welfare of his customers and also his employees(plus their families).

it really set me thinking of how i would treat my employees next time(long long time later). and the way i would want to serve my customers/clients in the future.

hey all!

sorry for not updating for such a long time and my blog has been almost dead also.
have been like mugging for the mid sems which my first one is this sat!
its at 1130am! so ppl pray for me kkz! even though im quite confident for it.
BUT im also super careless. and for a subject like stats, its super easy to be careless.

for example my second stats quiz, i actually got the correct answer already.
but before submitting i went to check all the answers again like redoing lar.
den my answer for that qn during checking was different so i tot earlier i did wrongly!
so i went to CHANGE!!! and got it wrong!!! ahhhhhhhh! 2 marks just flew away liddat.
and my stats tutor, even though she is super helpful, she isnt that good or she is takes quite some time to see the big picture like me.
theres this qn where i ask her and i got it wrong, so went to ask her again but she keep saying its correct den ask me go email the quiz tutor incharge. lol.
thank god i din lor. cos i manage to understand what went wrong.
AFTER like thinking really deep about it.

this week has been the week that i have studied the hardest man. haha
monday, stayed back after class to meet kenny and discuss our quiz qns.
tues, had my longest day for the week den met siji to study.
wed, went home after class at 130 with candice! earliest day this week so far.
today, met kenny to study again after PASS. rushed home for dinner den went with candice for international students connect group at lynn and ying's place at st lucia, very near uni.
had a great time chilling with them. even though there were like only a few ppl there.
about 8 ppl i think including the leaders, chantelle and simon.
we just practically had a great time talking and laughing at the contestants on aus idol. ok lar. not much of the laughing. plus some snacks too.
den it started which was just introducing ourselves.
den after that we played the guitar game! forget the name for it. its the wii thingy.
kinda fun but my hand got kinda tired after playing 2 rounds.
it is even more tiring den playing for praise lar. haha.
cos its like only moving one finger for the right hand.

heys!

i got 2.7 more marks for my stats quiz 1 already!!! hehe.
which makes gives me about a 90% for that quiz! PTL!
this was possible cos i went to find the lecturer after my lecture yesterday regarding one of the qns which was gave me the wrong no. of marks!
the 2.7 marks is about 10% okay!

ok. shall start from monday ba.
monday nothing much happened.

yesterday:
- got my 2.7marks!!!! for stats.
- went for uqabroad talk with kenny. really wondering if i should go for exchange anot, since i have like 3 years of uni. if go, den go where? BUT its like i have to really rely on my parents if i go cos the scholarships from the uni and belfac are quite difficult to get for me. not refering to the results part lar but cos im not a citizen or pr. so pian xin lar!!!!
- after accounting tute went to meet siji to study/teach him stats. study/teach from like about 4 to 7 plus lar. sky was super dark by the time we left the law lib at uni. we went to sunnybank for dinner. first time i go sunnybank lar. the stuff at the supermarket is even cheaper den the supermarket at chinatown lar! PLUS there were loads of asian food. only thing its expensive and very big portion! i couldnt finish what i ordered lar.. i ordered curry chicken with rice which costs A$9.80. the curry no kick lor! haha. out of the 4 chicken pieces in the curry, i could only finish 2 so gave the other 2 to siji. and i got a ride home after that! hahaha.
- slept at like 1230am cos have to complete the stats tute for today's tutorial. reached home quite late so slept even later. thanks candice for ur concern when i havent reach home when its already so late! haha.

ok. today:
- had a HARD time waking up. have to wake up at 7.50am lar! sleep for 7 hrs only!
- acct lecture was abit hard to understand again cos of the lecturer's accent. he was like pronoucing shares as CHAIRS and another one which i have forgotten which he said it quite frequently.
- was asking my tutor about a qn in my second stats quiz. and i think that she gave me the wrong answer cos actually i din understand so after she explained the qn, i went to think through the qn along the lines that she explained but its different from her answer. so im like dunno which is right or wrong now.
- waited for siji to finish his tute cos he wanted to photocopy my tutorial answers. den he sent me home again! hahahaha. thanks again!(even though i dont think you will read this cos i din tell you about my blog)

tml going to school at 10am for bus law tute. supposed to go on tues de but had the uqabroad thingy so decided to go for another one and since i know kenny is from that tute so yeah.
need to like wake up at 8am again..... and 6.30am on friday! omg!

heys!

today has been a good day as we managed to find indooroopilly CHRISTIAN CITY CHURCH!
was rather shock at the size when i reached there but im still liking it.
its a very small church.
it had only about 2 columns of about 10 rows each with each row about 10 chairs?
and not all the chairs were filled.
but still bigger than taringa baptist and the ppl look more on fire!
the presence of God was really in that place. but still not as strong as i would like it to be. haha.
i really miss the strong presence of God in the svcs at church(CHC).
today the pst was preaching about the sword of the spirit-WOG!
about how the WOG can actually change ppl's lives and how it does so.
he also talked about the meditation of God's word.

oh yah. just now when i was surfing around CCC website, i found out about this conference thing that will be held in hawaii for the CCC churches!
and PST KONG is one of the preachers that will be preaching with other preachers like pst phil, his wife and others which i've forgotten.

midsem examinations are like just round the corner!
earliest being stats which is on the 30th of aug!
which is a SAT! and during the following week i have one on fri and one on sat(again!).
will really start the studying tml!
and the tml is really tml! LOL!
i've worked out a plan already to study for the midsems.
im really ON to get all my 7s!
ok lar. im only aiming for 2 7s this sem to be exact.
the other 2 at least a 5.

why arent they showing the tabletennis woman double finals????????

i redid my stats quiz and i got the same marks as before!!!!!!!!!!
PLUS i went thru my friend's quiz with him and he got FULL MARKS for it!
~~wth lar!~~ super pek cek now! was doing just now and was like thinking sure full marks de.
but come out the same as before.

heyhey!

im currently blogging from my living room and watching "40 year old virgin" on TV!
i just dont feel like studying now.
was going thru some tutorial qns just now so today isnt entirely wasted.
hehe.
tml got lecture at 10am! omg! so early, it means i gotta wake up at 8am. hahahah.
tml is a SHORT DAY! cos i dun have accounting this week as its ekka! haha.
ekka is some kind of celebration that they have here. which last for about a week.
so i got my wed off this week! hahaa.
plus. no accounting lecture plus tutorial! =)
tml im having stats lecture! yay! haha. love stats!
plus b.law tutorial. boo! haha.
law is interesting but quite boring too.
ahhhh!

tml me and candice are gonna borrow some DVDs from the lib to entertain us on wed!
cos i think close to none of the shops will be open den.
its EXHIBITION DAY! here.. haha.

mid sem is in about 3 weeks time!!!! omg!!!
though i have only 3 subjects to study for, its still alot!!!
haha.. ok. enough complaining.

today is a tiring day man.
haha. did loads of walking.
was supposed to go for svc at CCC which is at indooroopilly state school.
i was like so on it cos i went to the journey planner of the translink to find the best route to the place.
BUT ended up the website mixed up state school and high school.
we ended up at HIGH SCHOOL! so we walkwalkwalk all the way to somewhere near the state school but we cannot find it.hahaha.
and by the time we reach the place that is near the state school we were super late le so we just decided to go into the shopping centre. haha..
den after that we took another bus den the usual to go home which means that we will need to walk again! hahahah.

went to the city today too.
spent the longest time i ever spent in BODY SHOP!
ppl that go shopping with me will know that i dun like body shop. hahaha.
but today i find it not that bad. haha.
the shop call "lush" has an even stronger smell lar.
it just sells soaps. BUT the soaps look very eatable! haha.
like jelly liddat. some look like cheese.. hehe.

after that came home and did nothing much.
siji came over and i taught him a little of stats.
went thru his CML quiz with him. which i've done mine already.
his is exactly the same as mine lar only different numbers. lol.

tml is going to be so dry man.
im having b law lecture tml! but thank god i have this PASS for stats tml so its not so bad. hahaha.
buslaw is going to talk bout the law of torts tml.
torts is a civil wrong. hahaha.
ok. it looks quite confusing to me. with loads of stuff to memorise.
wonder how am i going to study for the exams man.
its like one chpt alone got so much to memorise.
its like what are the advantages and disadvantages for a certain thing like maybe the "doctrine of precedents".
i dont really understand why am i learning all this when it is in the australian context and not a global one.

hey all!

im missing singapore.last night i had a real sweet dream.. i was back in singapore with all my good friends and my parents.
thats why i din feel like waking up in the morning.slept till like 12 plus. haha.
BUT i slept LATE last night kkz.
watched the opening ceremony of the beijing olympics at candice's place till 2am in the morning!!!
was good! but i fell asleep during the part where the athletes from the different countries started to come out. haha..
but i din miss singaporE!! i watched singapore come out with the table tennis player as the flag-bearer. but i forgot how i woke up.
hmms. candice, you woke me up rights? hehee

today went grocery shopping with candice at toowong village.
but i din get bread and milk.
bread is like $1 more expensive in coles at toowong den at woolworths lar.
and same for the homebrand litemilk which i always buy.
ahh! so will be buying tml.
today bought alot of extra stuff which i usually dont buy but bought cos it was cheap and i dont mind trying to cook it. hehehhe.
i bought a photoframe today too!!! hehe. so can put up photos of cg and friends plus family.

went shopping today at kmart too! haha.
you must be thinking shopping at kmart?
ok. apparently there are nice clothes there - refering to the one at toowong village cos the one at indooroopilly doesnt have nice clothes.
